Easter Brunch Cocktail Recipes, Fun Facts, and Letter Board Ideas
Maybe it’s being a new homeowner, or maybe the fact I am now hosting holidays, but whatever the reason, I always get excited about planning for an upcoming holiday. Next up: Easter.
I’ve researched and tested out some Easter brunch cocktail recipes, food recipes, and some overall fun things to make your Easter holiday more enjoyable, no matter where you spend it. Fun fact: did you know Easter is the second busiest Church day (behind Christmas Eve)? Read on for more Easter fun facts and stats:
Easy Easter Brunch Drink Recipes
Bunny Mary – a unique twist on the bloody mary, except swap out your usual tomato juice for a carrot juice (just know it’s kinda tough to find, so plan ahead).
Bunny Mary Easter Cocktail:
- 1 1/2 ounce vodka
- 3 ounce carrot juice
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
-
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 ounce honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- Garnish: Line the glass with a salt rim or Cajun seasoning
- Additional Garnishes: Parsley sprig, bacon, cucumbers, celery, shrimp cocktail, lime, grape tomatoes, carrots, olives, etc. – go wild with it here! Sometimes obnoxious garnishes make the most Instagramable cocktails, but careful because garnishes can quickly add up in the grocery store line!
I always line the rim of the cocktail with cajun seasoning or a spicy seasoning. Get the edge of your glass wet, and dip into a plate of the seasoning, then shake all the ingredients and add to a glass of ice and garnish. Voila, and enjoy!
Rosé Topped With Cotton Candy
Choose your favorite still or sparkling rosé and top with a handful of pink cotton candy. Pro tip: cotton candy is usually found in the bakery aisle at the grocery store. This was a hard one to find, so wanted to share!
Rosé Topped With Peeps
Ok, I’ll be honest, this one was just for an Instagram cocktail, as I’m not a huge fan of Peeps. But did you know there are 24 Peep flavors? I had to cut the bottom of the Peep to have it set on the glass, but it’s easy and festive. Enjoy!
