According to this article, new figures from analyst firm Canalys show that 7 million fitness bands – excluding clip-on trackers – were sold in Q1 of 2015 and that Fitbit came out on top. The article goes on to say that Fitbit has a massive 68% share of the fitness tracker market which has grown since February of this year. Thanks to Facebook and Coors Light, you just might be a new owner of this great wearable gadget.
And although it’s usually way too hot to throw a football around while you’re tailgating, it’s a great way to burn calories (but probably not as many as you’ll consume!). If you weigh 155 pounds, you burn 176 calories an hour just throwing around the pigskin (via Calories Calendar). Other simple tips include parking further away, taking stairs or ramps instead of escalators or elevators, walking around the tailgate to say hi to friends and make new ones, and stand up while drinking and eating instead of sitting down.
Other than that, just have fun and hope your team wins! Oh, and wear sunscreen and drink lots of water.
